Our **Easter Camp 2026** began on Good Friday, 3 April, with everyone looking forward to spending time together over the Easter weekend. Storm Dave brought challenging weather and strong winds, including damage to a tent. The group made the sensible decision to head home temporarily for everyone’s safety. Thankfully, nobody was injured. When conditions improved, the group returned the following afternoon and camp continued. Despite the rain and muddy ground, there was still plenty to enjoy before everyone returned home safely on Easter Tuesday. A big thank you to the organisers and everyone who helped care for the group throughout the weekend. **Stay connected with Eglinton** Find out more about our church family, upcoming activities and opportunities to get involved on our [Church Life](https://www.eglintonpres.com/church-life/) page, or [get in touch](https://www.eglintonpres.com/contact-us/). In 2026, Eglinton held a **36 Hour Prayer Room**, building on the previous year’s 24 hour gathering. Every prayer slot was filled as people made time to come before God, individually and together. Using the **PRAY** framework, Pause, Rejoice, Ask and Yield, the room offered different prayer stations to help people reflect on God’s goodness, pray for our church and wider community, and spend time quietly in His presence. A shared book also gave visitors the opportunity to record prayers, testimonies and words of encouragement. These reflections became a meaningful part of the experience for the congregation. Thank you to everyone who helped prepare the space and everyone who took part. We pray that the encouragement from those hours together will continue to bear fruit. **Stay connected with Eglinton** Find out more about our church family, upcoming activities and opportunities to get involved on our [Church Life](https://www.eglintonpres.com/church-life/) page, or [get in touch](https://www.eglintonpres.com/contact-us/).
